Why Stars dont shine
Leaves not green
Flower not in bloom
Why fragrance of earth is not mine

Why air is so heavy
with crass cacophony
Why the smoke is not parting
Is it the earth's wind passing

Why the organism called human
is not yet human
Blind in its immortality
though fungible in totality

All because of Hope
though hope is hopeless
If this is life
What is Death?
